OK...going back to the seriel killer topic I have another thought...the more GL has scenes dealing with the seriel killer, the more I think it could maybe be Jeffrey. Anybody else think so??

Count me as a non-Jeffrey fan. I could never stand Bradley Cole and I don't understand why they brought him back. Richard was one of the most wooden characters I've ever seen and Rassie wins the award for most boring couple of all time, IMO. I wanted to see Cassie with Danny, but I'll go for Cadmund now any day over a Jeffrey/Cassie pairing.

I didn't hate Richard, but he never one of my fav characters.
As for Jeffrey...I REALLY don't like him...and he is a little strange.
As for him as the seriel killer...they were saying that the killer has access to medical supplies, and Jeffrey does...i think.

Ok...now that Ben has been revealed as Springfields seriel killer...what are your thoughts on the whole plot line?
Personally, I think it's totally ridiculous. The writers have made Ben into something he never was. This totally goes against his life history. How he was raised, etc.

I am majorly PO'd. So PO'd in fact, it's hard for me to talk about it without thinking nasty thoughts about some certain people!!
The plotline WAS ridiculous. It was like .. hurriedly wrapped up and made so that everyone dead was hurriedly and ridiculously tied to Ben so he could bump them off. Over Bridget Waters?!! A girl that means NOTHING to us?! OMG.. spare me please. This was awful. If it weren't for Matt's brilliant acting, I would have simply HATED everything about the storyline.

I agree with you Emily. The very best part of this whole plot line was Matt's acting. And Aubrey's too. They both did some totally amazing work throught it. These last few days of the storyline were so realistic. Had it not been for them, this would've been a horrible plot line.

Well it's been a week, plus since the tragic happenings and horrible plot involving Matt's suicidal, emotional death, the whole kidnapping scene and the horrible revealing that sucked soooo bad when Ben was shown as the killer! OMG! So many things to say...so many stupid reasons and facts that made it obvious that Ben wasn't the kind to murder and the kind to act like he did and then die! But I must admit that it was sweet how he risked his own life so Marina wouldn't have to fear him anymore! And then he gives her all his money from his passed grammy!~Omg, that was the sweetest thing ever! I just hope that next time they plan on making a plot of this sort that they make sense of the conclusion and reason for it, too! Better luck next time, GL writers!

Very, very, very well said Erin. In my honest opinion, GL writers should've done some background research on Ben, before making him the killer. But in the end, the Ben we all knew and loved, came out again. He showed that he truly loved Marina, not only by dying so she wouldn't have to fear him any longer, but he also left his inheretance to her, despite having a stepmother and stepsister that have been by side at all times.

well i can see why ben did the things he did because he was sexually abused and he could handle the bad things that were happening to him and he finally snapped
